R&D

2018 to 2020: 2 years of R&D for the <tc>Deltaboard</tc>

Between 2018 and 2020, we dedicated two intense years to research and development of the DeltaboardOur goal was clear: to design innovative, modular and practical climbing equipment for use in apartments.

We multiplied prototypes, explored various configurations, and spent countless nights in Fab Labs to refine our concept. Each challenge we overcame brought us closer to our vision: to offer a training tool embodying modularity and simplicity, values that still define the Deltaboard.

Since the beginning our mission has been to help every climber progress, whatever their level.

Creation of the company

2020: the launch of the company and the success of the Kickstarter

In 2020, Delta took flight thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, hundreds of climbers supported our project, making production of the first Deltaboards.

We were pleased to deliver to our first customers before the end-of-year holidays, thus placing the first Deltaboards under the Christmas trees.

The first big difficulties

2021 to 2023: post-Cavid obstacles

After the pandemic, we faced our first major challenges: production delays, supply chain difficulties, and rising costs.

These obstacles have tested our resilience, but they have also allowed us to strengthen our structure, optimize our processes, and, above all, further improve our products. This has benefited both the customer-climber experience and reduced our machining costs.

The unwavering support of the Delta community has been essential during this time, motivating us to persevere and continue to innovate.

Return to the basics

Consolidation and new features in 2023

2023 marked a key milestone for Delta. We consolidated our achievements, improved our existing products, and listened closely to our community's feedback. This led us to expand our range with new equipment such as the DeltaGo, offering even more flexibility to our users.

Another flagship project is the Deltabase, A Freestanding support imagined from the beginnings of Delta to install a Deltaboard, or any other Climbing hangboard, without piercing its walls.

There Deltabase embodies our values of ease of use, modularity, and 100% French production. We continue to prioritize quality, sustainability, and local commitment, producing mainly in France.
